Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is well established; run by Horniman Primary School, we provide places for 50 children, Monday to Friday between 7.45am – 8.45am. The cost is £6 per day, per child.
Being a healthy school, we offer a variety of menu options including both hot and cold food to prepare the children for the start of their day.
Breakfast Club also provides activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and a calm atmosphere. After children have eaten breakfast they have the option to take part in group exercise activities both in and outdoors, table games or quiet time in the library.

After School Club
We provide and facilitate our own After School Club (ASC) for children who attend our school. The ASC operates between 3.15pm and 6pm Monday to Friday during term time only and provides 55 places per day. The costs for ASC from September 2023 are as follows:
4:30pm - 6:00pm - £9 per child
3:15pm - 6:00pm - £15.00 per child
All bookings must be made in advance via SCOPAY. We cannot offer a refund for non attendance.
All of our friendly team of dedicated Play Workers are enhanced DBS checked, have experience of working with children and receive regular training such as: safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene. Our team works hard to provide good quality and good value for money childcare. Our club is Ofsted registered and offers a safe, stimulating and above all fun environment for children aged between 4 and 11 years.
The play environment allows children to be offered a selection of structured activities and play opportunities which take place both in and outdoors eg: arts & crafts, board games, construction, role play, small world, clay modelling, cricket, football and much more.
A light, healthy snack is provided for all children in the ASC and a choice of beverages are also available.

If you pay by childcare vouchers or use the Tax Free Childcare Scheme to pay for ASC or Enrichment Clubs, please complete the below forms and send to: remittances@horniman.lewisham.sch.uk for allocation to Scopay.
Enrichment Clubs
At Horniman we offer a wide range of quality clubs.
The extended services we offer at Horniman School are very important to us and we are proud to have many clubs sessions that we offer in addition to our After School and Breakfast Clubs.
We offer a range of clubs in sport, art, music, forest school, dance and many more. See timetable below for our current offer.
Our clubs provide enrichment opportunities for our children in a warm and friendly environment both before and after the main school day.
Through these clubs, we give children the chance have fun whilst learning key skills which will enhance their personal development and life skills.
Our enrichment clubs are led by well trained professionals including members of our own staff, parents and club leaders..
